Dr. Rohan Gopal Badgujar is a distinguished Consultant General, Laparoscopic and Laser Surgeon with over 10 years of extensive experience in clinical and surgical practice. He completed his MBBS from the prestigious Government Medical College, Miraj, and subsequently earned his MS in General Surgery from Government Medical College, Nanded. To ensure he remains at the cutting edge of surgical advancements, he has further enhanced his expertise through a series of specialized fellowships, including FMAS, FIAGES, FISCP, and EFIAGES.
Dr. Rohan has developed comprehensive, hands-on experience across a wide spectrum of surgical disciplines. His core clinical areas include general surgery, advanced laparoscopic and minimal access procedures, gastrointestinal surgery, hernia surgery and complex abdominal wall reconstruction, and colorectal surgery. In addition to these, he specializes in state-of-the-art laser procedures for anorectal diseases and maintains a special clinical interest in trauma management and specialized diabetic foot surgery.
His professional journey is grounded in a deep commitment to serving underserved populations. He began his career by providing vital medical care to patients in rural Maharashtra, which included serving as the Chief Medical Officer at a Primary Health Centre in Aghai near Shahapur, followed by his tenure at a government hospital in Nanded. Demonstrating unwavering dedication to his medical oath, Dr. Rohan continued to provide critical emergency and surgical care during the COVID-19 pandemic, standing firmly by his patients and community through one of the most challenging periods in modern medical history. Over the years, he has also lent his expertise as a trusted consultant surgeon across numerous hospitals spanning Kalyan, Dombivli, Ulhasnagar, Ambernath, Badlapur, and Titwala.
Driven by a powerful vision to bridge gaps in medical infrastructure and provide comprehensive, multi-specialty patient care at a single destination, Dr. Rohan has stepped into key institutional leadership roles as a co-founder. He serves as a Co-founder and Director at Anantam Hospital, where he plays an instrumental leadership role in guiding hospital administration, elevating surgical care standards, expanding institutional capabilities, and ensuring that patients receive high-quality, holistic medical treatment. Additionally, he co-founded Sun Clinics in 2024, which represents his dedicated vision for accessible, multi-disciplinary outpatient care, bringing together specialized medical services under one roof to serve the community efficiently.
Alongside his demanding clinical and administrative responsibilities, Dr. Rohan is deeply invested in community service and youth empowerment through the Pratibhashala Foundation. His work with the foundation encompasses community health guidance, counseling, and dedicated mentorship for students preparing for medical entrance and postgraduate examinations. Dr. Rohan is actively involved with the Pratibhashala Foundation, a government-registered NGO focused on youth empowerment, education and stress counselling.
